Everything worth doing nearby, measured in drive time.
Orbit keeps watch over the comedy clubs, arenas, theaters, casino stages, breweries and trailheads around you. Each morning it tells you what's on, how far it is and what it costs, checked against the venue's own site.
Signups open soon. Orbit is starting in the Inland Empire.
One message a day, in the order you'd decide.
Tonight first, then the rest of the week, then the weekend. Each line has the time, the place, the drive and the price. A star marks the people and things you asked Orbit to watch, so your own picks never get lost among its finds.

Why the dates are right
Event listings online go stale. Last year's dates get recycled as upcoming, a fight card moves to another city, a ticket site advertises a show the venue never booked. Orbit checks each listing against the venue's or performer's own site before showing it to you. When it can't confirm a time, it says so instead of guessing.
Coming later
- Plan a date
- Two people's tastes and free evenings, one short list.
- Decide with friends
- A shortlist, a quick vote, and the plan is set.
- Give a night out
- Send someone an outing picked for what they like.
